Harbor Steak House | Our Story

85 years on Orchard Lake Road

Harbor Steak House has been a fixture in Keego Harbor, Michigan since 1938 — a neighborhood institution that outlasted trends by simply being itself. New family, same heart, same table.

Harbor Steak House has anchored Keego Harbor since 1938 — the kind of restaurant neighbors drove past for years, then couldn't stop going back to.
New family, same warmth

New family, same warmth

A new family now stewards Harbor Steak House with one commitment: preserve what made it beloved, then add a little more care to every detail. Not a reinvention — a renewal.
The food, done right

The food, done right

The heart of the menu is still the steak, finished with our house Zip Sauce and served with garlic mash and sautéed or grilled sides. Prime rib comes out Fridays and Saturdays. Beyond the grill there's fresh-caught seafood, entrée salads big enough to share, and handhelds worth the drive, like the pulled pork Sloppy Joe and our signature burger.
Handhelds worth the drive

Handhelds worth the drive

When you're not in the mood for a steak, the handhelds carry the same kitchen. The pulled pork Sloppy Joe piles slow-cooked meat onto a toasted bun, and our signature burger keeps regulars coming back. Simple food, done right.
A wine list worth lingering over

The right bottle turns a good steak into a great night. Our reds run deep, from bold Napa cabs to Italian classics and old-world favorites, hand-picked to stand up to everything off the grill. Ask your server for a pairing, or take your time and explore.
Whites, bubbles, and everything crisp

Lighter, brighter, and made for warm nights. Crisp Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and buttery Chardonnay, plus sparkling and rosé when there's something to celebrate. A natural match for our fresh seafood and entrée salads, or a glass on its own at the bar.
